Strauss Dietary Supplements
The Strauss Herb Company was founded in 1980 by 8th generation Strauss Herbalist Jim Strauss. Trained since early childhood by his grandmother in his native Austria, Jim was reminded of his wealth of herbal knowledge when at the age of 59 he had heart attack. Refusing heart surgery, Jim went home and created what is now known as the Strauss Heartdrops. As the reputation of his Heartdrops spread, people came to him for help with many other ailments. This led to the formulation of the range we have on offer today.
The herbs used in Strauss Formulas are selected for complimentary reasons to increase the efficacy and safety of the product. An example of complementing herbs may be that one herb with blood cleansing properties is used with another herb to support the liver through the process. The use of multiple herbs with the same action or intent helps to provide a broader spectrum of efficacy on a greater number of people.
